Dimeco Alipresse’s new L7155B “3 in 1” NC coil feeding line is now available through Shear-Form Machine Tools Ltd, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier’s and Dimeco Alipresse’s sole UK representative.

The L7155B coil feeding line incorporates a decoiler and a straightener feeder on a single 3.4m long solid base and is designed for manufacturers seeking a simple, yet robust and safe press feeding line that is able to handle 3 ton 300mm wide coils with a strip thickness between 0,3mm and 4,1mm.

A feature of this line is that because of it size it can easily be moved from one press to another and it is easy to operate. It is also available as a version to handle 500mm wide strip.

The variable speed decoiler has a pneumatic safety pressure arm and 6 coil keepers, whilst manual rotational jog programmed feed length for the tooling set up is controlled from the main NC control panel. The straightener feeder has a full crocodile head opening for easy strip insertion and roll cleaning. It is also equipped with 2 x hardened chrome pulling rolls to provide a good grip which are pneumatically released and 7 x hardened straightening rolls. The adjustable pass height can range between 950 – 1350mm.

The movable Numerical Control has 1 – 100% adjustment of the speed and acceleration, pitch micro-adjustment and automatic single stroke or continuous operation in the press mode.

Options available for the numerical control include remote control, strip encoder, electronic cams and a 220V transformer.

Dimeco Alipresse’s servo electric LinaPunch_® MC-E is a new generation coil fed turret punching machine, that has been launched by Shear-Form Machine Tools Ltd, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier’s and Dimeco Alipresse’s sole UK representative.

This new punching machine has been designed to improve productivity with higher speeds, give more flexibility and reduce by up to 50% energy costs in high quality high volume sheet metal fabrication especially in metal furniture and white goods applications.

The main feature of this machine is that only the tools move, which enables a higher punching rate and less energy. The 2 x 20 tons servo electric punching power is transferred to the ram through a knuckle system for a softer punching action and programmable stroke.

This all electric punching machine, which is controlled by a Dimeco SIMOSTAR NC control managing up to 11 programmable servo axis, features x and y positioning axis, 200Kn high speed press drive systems with programmable bottom and upper dead points, 52 standard cartridge tools selection system fitted in 4 exchangeable cassettes, which if required can be replaced by Auto-index or Multi-tool programmable rotating dies.

It is designed for coil strip up to 34” wide using one side tool holder and up to 68” using 2 sides tool holders facing each other.

Options include a punching tonnage monitoring including automatic toll brake control and tool lubrication with oil injection through the top of the tool using programmed oil quantities.

LINEAR STRIP ACCUMULATORS FROM SHEAR-FORM CAN IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY

Soprem Linear Strip Accumulators from Shear-Form Machine Tools Ltd, the sole UK representative for Swiss coil processing equipment manufacturer Soprem Automation AG can increase productivity and reduce downtimes in coil strip processing production.

The Soprem linear strip accumulator system comprises 2 x 1,000kg decoilers, a strip end welding machine, a strip accumulator with multiple 5m high linear strip loops including a powered pulling roll unit with loop control at the outlet end. This system can handle strip up to 120 m long x 250mm wide strip and ranging from 0,2 – 1,2mm in thickness, operating at a maximum 40m/min strip speed.

The strip accumulator smoothly feeds the strip into the on-going processing equipment without any interruptions even during coil changeovers. It has fixed lower diverting rolls and adjustable upper rolls, which are moved to the upper starting position by vector drive. A powered roil feeding unit with loop control in a linear and vertical moving scanning unit ensures a continuous strip flow at the same time maintaining a constant strip pull..

Options available include systems with larger or smaller accumulating capacity, de-coilers with different loading capacities, other strip profiles and systems that to fit special space requirements by using strip diversion systems.
